Astronauts are so used to eating savoury food when they are up in space. As they are exposed to a lot of simple food and food that are dehydrated, they need a sweet kick in their pallete to remind them of home. Fudgy brownies are simple to make yet reminiscent of what they would eat with their families back home.
Recipe
Dry Ingredients
1 cup of sugar
3/4 cup of flour
2/3 cup of cocoa powder
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup of oil
2 tablespoons of water
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
Oven settings- preheat for 10 minutes at 160°c and bake for 45 minutes at 160°c
Instructions:
Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 160°c.
Sift the dry ingredients separately if clumpy.
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Add in the wet ingredients.
Mix everything well until it becomes a thick consistency.
